How to find real (authentic) Liz lisa?

Hi there^^!

Today, I want to discuss about fake Liz lisa products.

I visited Kim Dao's blog(http://www.kimdaoblog.com/), and watched a video that reviews some of the products from Liz lisa.

I really enjoyed watching the video, and the Liz lisa 2011 Spring collection dress was so beautiful, that I wanted to have one as well.
And the searching began, and I wondered why there were so many places that sells this dress. Since this dress came out in the year of 2011 as one of the Spring collection,
I thought this dress should be rare item!

The first place where I found this dress was: http://sweetgyarushop.com/.
When I asked them, they told me they still have this dress,
and it's 100% authentic.

But since their shop was from China, I could not fully trust them, as being a
customer. It might be a Korean things to believe in, but, I don't trust
Chinese seller that much.
And surprisingly, I figured out that the clothing what the sweet gyaru shop has isn't real.
It's originally from Taobao (a chinese site). All of the things that taobao sells
is fake, and it's low quality.

The second place where I found this dress was ebay.
There were several sellers selling the dresses.
When I asked them that whether the dress was authentic or not,
all the sellers answered me "YES."
I trusted the seller on ebay, and paid $39.99 for the dress.
After a week later, I received dress in Korea (I had to pay extra to ship to Korea),
and when I opened, I was so surprised.
The dress was so much different from the picture, and I could tell the dress wasn't
authentic. I guess it was a scam.

A recommendation for those of the people who are looking forward to get
Liz lisa dress:

1. Purchase it through Japan Yahoo auction.

-This might be hard, since it's hard to join (It requires you to have Japanese address in order to join). But you could ask a friend or family to purchase it for you,
and also, if you go to google, and search for "Japan Yahoo Auction," there should be
some sites(company), that would help you to purchase the product.

-Even it's a little difficult to use Japan yahoo auction, it is the most safest way to get authentic(real) Liz lisa clothing.

Bad: If there is a good part, there is a bad part as well.
The bad part is that, the exchange rate of Yen(Japanese money) is really high right now.
I'm Korean(as I introduced before), and 1,500Won(money in Korea, 1,000won is $1) is equal to 100 yen in Japan. So for me, if I want to buy about 9,000 yen Liz lisa
authentic dress, I have to pay about $135.
It had been like this for last 4years. So you have to watch out the price of the product that you are thinking to get.

Also, the radiation all over the Japan (especially in Tokyo area) right now.
People says that the radiation on the clothing is washable, but I think
it's not really safe to buy products from Japan at.

2. Purchase it from know person's personal shop, or blog

-I guess blog is the one of the most easiest method to use when you make a deal.
I'm not saying that all the blogger is believable, but if the blog is good(has lots of people come and going, good postings, old), then you could trust the blog.
Like me, I have a blog in Korea as well. As a blogger, sometimes I like to sell
some stuffs throughout the blog, and sometimes I visit other known blogs to find
things to buy. Especially, if the blogger posted their pictures on the blog, the chances are most likely to be "safe."

Bad: Sometimes the seller does not tell the truth, and sells damaged, or completely different items. So you must watch out for this, and to prevent a scam, I strongly
recommend to use Paypal.

I think these are two that I came up so far.
Thank you for reading, and visiting my blog!

  1. Did you get the refund? eBay is usually pretty buyer-friendly and helpful with such stuff. You still can find authentic stuff on eBay too, it just depends on seller, I guess. I got a beautiful SS 2012 snidel scalloped jacket there for $35 and it's totally authentic and has tags attached and all. I also got Cecil McBee coat there and both sellers were very helpful and provided pictures of the actual items and pictures of the tags too! I am selling on ebay Liz Lisa cardi that I just got in fukubukuro which is also obviously authentic :) So eBay definitely can be an option with little precaution.
You also can buy from Yahoo auctions Jp, or any other webstore or even official Liz Lisa using Tenso shipping service. They give you the unique address in Japan and you just order stuff paying with your credit card! When it reaches Tenso warehouse, they ship it directly to you! But shipping costs are insane :( Well, at least for US, I would think it's cheaper for Korea :)
Taobao is just like eBay or Gmarket, so there definitely could be some items that are actually authentic just like not all stuff on Taobao is cheap. But ordering from Taobao is actually quite troublesome since it requires either having Chinese bank account, I think or using the agent. I'd also think, in case something goes wrong it's kinda hard to fix the problem without knowing the language too :(
